In March 2017, Dr. Maggie Zhao, Director of T&LEMU, attended the Higher Education Planning in Asia Forum in Tokyo, Japan. In an interactive session on “Institutional Quality Assurance”, she presented the issues, challenges and practices in the quality assurance processes and facilitated the discussions among participants from universities in Japan, Mainland China, Hong Kong and Singapore. The discussions covered a broad range of issues, such as, curriculum, international benchmarking, teaching and learning evaluation, and student diversity.
